Impossible d’installer les pilotes MP Drivers (Windows)

  • Si l’installation ne démarre pas lorsque vous insérez le CD-ROM d’installation :

    Suivez les instructions ci-dessous pour lancer l’installation.

    1. Effectuez les paramétrages suivants.
      • Sous Windows 10, cliquez sur le bouton Démarrer > Explorateur de fichiers, puis cliquez sur Ce PC dans la liste de gauche.
      • Sous Windows 8.1, sélectionnez l’icône Explorateur dans la Barre des tâches sur le Bureau, puis sélectionnez Ce PC dans la liste de gauche.
      • Sous Windows 7, cliquez sur Démarrer, puis sur Ordinateur.
    2. Double-cliquez sur l’icône du CD-ROM dans la fenêtre qui s’affiche.

      Si le contenu du CD-ROM s’affiche, double-cliquez sur MSETUP4.EXE.

      Si vous ne parvenez pas à installer les pilotes MP Drivers avec le CD-ROM d’installation, installez-les à partir du site Web Canon.

    Remarque

    • Si l’icône du CD-ROM n’apparaît pas, procédez comme suit :
      • Retirez le CD-ROM du lecteur, puis réintroduisez-le.
      • Redémarrez l’ordinateur.

      Si le problème persiste, insérez un autre disque. Si l’icône apparaît, cela signifie qu’il y a un problème avec le CD-ROM d’installation. Contactez le centre de service Canon le plus proche pour demander une réparation.

  • Si vous ne pouvez pas aller au-delà de l’écran Connexion de l’imprimante :

  • Autres situations :

    Réinstallez les MP Drivers.

    Si les MP Drivers n’ont pas été installés correctement, désinstallez-les MP Drivers, redémarrez l’ordinateur, puis réinstallez les MP Drivers.

    Suppression des MP Drivers inutiles

    Réinstallez les pilotes MP Drivers à l’aide du CD-ROM d’installation ou depuis le site Web Canon.

    Remarque

    • Si le programme d’installation a été interrompu en raison d’une erreur Windows, le fonctionnement de Windows risque d’être instable et vous ne pourrez peut-être pas installer les pilotes. Redémarrez l’ordinateur, puis réinstallez les pilotes.

Printing Does Not Start

  1. Check1 Make sure printer is securely plugged in and press ON button to turn it on.

    The ON lamp flashes while the printer is initializing. Wait until the ON lamp stops flashing and remains lit.

    Note

    • If you are printing large data such as photos or other graphics, printing may take longer to start. The ON lamp flashes while the computer is processing data and sending it to the printer. Wait until printing starts.
  2. Check2 Make sure printer is properly connected to computer.

    When the printer is connected to your computer with a USB cable, check the following:

    • If you are using a relay device such as a USB hub, disconnect it, connect the printer directly to the computer, and retry the printing. If printing starts normally, there is a problem with the relay device. Contact the vendor of the relay device.
    • There could also be a problem with the USB cable. Replace the USB cable and retry the printing.

    If you use the printer over a LAN, make sure the printer is correctly set up for network use.

    Note

    • IJ Network Device Setup Utility allows you to diagnose and repair the network status. Download it from the web page.
  3. Check3 Make sure paper settings match information set for rear tray.

    If the paper settings do not match the information set for the rear tray, an error code appears on the LCD and message appears on the computer.

  4. Check4 If printing from a computer, delete unnecessary print jobs.
  5. Check5 Is your printer‘s printer driver is selected when printing?

    The printer will not print properly if you are using a printer driver for a different printer.

    • For Windows:

      Make sure “Canon XXX series” (where “XXX” is your printer‘s name) is selected in the Print dialog box.

      Note

      • To make the printer the one selected by default, select Set as Default Printer.
    • For Mac OS:

      Make sure your printer‘s name is selected in Printer in the Print dialog.

      Note

      • To make the printer the one selected by default, select the printer for Default printer.
  6. Check6 Is print data extremely large? (Windows)

    Click Print Options on Page Setup sheet of the printer driver. Then set Prevention of Print Data Loss to On in the dialog that appears.

    * This may reduce print quality.

  7. Check7 If printing from your computer, restart computer.

Print Results Are Unsatisfactory

If the print results are unsatisfactory due to white streaks, misaligned lines, or uneven colors, check the paper and print quality settings first.

  1. Check1 Do page size and media type settings match size and type of loaded paper?

    If these settings do not match, it is not possible to obtain the proper result.

    If you are printing a photograph or an illustration, an incorrect paper type setting may reduce the quality of the printout color.

    Also, if you print with an incorrect paper type setting, the printed surface may be scratched.

    In borderless printing, uneven coloring may occur depending on the combination of the paper type setting and the loaded paper.

    The method for checking the paper and print quality settings differs depending on what you are using your printer for.

    Printing from a PictBridge (Wireless LAN) compliant device Check the settings on your PictBridge (Wireless LAN) compliant device.

    Printing from your computer (Windows) Check the settings using the printer driver.

  2. Check2 Make sure appropriate print quality is selected (see table above).

    Select a print quality suited to the paper and to what you are printing. If you notice blurs or uneven colors, increase the print quality setting and retry the printing.

  3. Check3 If problem is not resolved, check other causes.

If Printed Paper Has Been Discolored

Colors may fade with time if the printed paper is left for a long period of time.

After printing, dry the paper sufficiently, avoid high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight, and store or display indoors at room temperature and normal humidity.

To avoid direct exposure to air, we recommend that you store the paper in an album, plastic folder, photo frame, etc.
